HOT!!!!!!!

We had a record high here today at 1450 hrs and now, at 1619 hrs it's still climbing a bit.

It's 104 actual, 113 heat index. I have been in saunas that feel cooler than it does outside today.

I feel ya, Cidp24.........we had and are still having this wicked hot weather. I worked all weekend in it, have only left my house once today............;-)

Yea it was registering 39*C on the clock today. That sucked donkey balls...we have to turn off the A/C in the jet to get better take off performance when it is that hot out. That results is sweat soaked aircrew...

At least you're up in a somewhat mountainous area and not down in the valley like I am. Where all the heat likes to collect and stagnate. Although the air probably isn't moving where you're at either. You would think that with me being so close to the delta that there might be some delta breezes. No such luck today.

Plus I had to help unload a floor loaded overseas container with walls 1/4 inch thick 728 cases full of office chairs in the middle of the afternoon by hand. It might as well have been 130 degrees inside that trailer. Of course the idiots that I work for were beyond giving me that trailer first thing in the morning when it was cooler. Oh well, like they say, job security. Right?

It was so hot that I bet you could fry an egg on the walls of that trailer.

All is not lost. though. I get to go to court tomorrow to start with opening statements on a class action lawsuit that is supposed to last a month. Yay!!! (sarcasm) Our attorneys want us all there to show the jury that we have a sufficient number of people that are interested in the case. We are suing for failure to maintain the premises in regards to what we pay for space rent in the Mobile Home Park that I live in. If I wasn't working, I would be there every day.
