Patches and a good cause.

Patches for Bruce
We are collection Patches from EMS, PD, and Fire to make a quilt for a friend's children. Bruce Bennitt passed on 9/15/10 after a long battle w/ Cystic Fibrosis. He had received a lung transplant in the last year Bruce was a paramedic, fire fighter, and a volunteer police officer in Hesperia, MI. He had a passion for collecting patches. We would like to make 2 quilts for his 2 children, and pass their fathers hobby onto them. They will be 2 yrs old on Christmas. Bruce did what he could to help others, now it's our turn. Please spread the page. As people send patches I will try and take pictures and post to the site as a thank you and see what has been represented. Feel free to send them on a standard quilt square if you like
