Lt. Col. Dave Grossman
Did anyone else from the Swamp Mafia make the Col's seminar in Lafayette today?
He gave his "Bulletproof Mind" seminar.
I personally thought it was an awesome presentation.
The place was full of cops from all over the state, as well as a few from Texas, and some military.
I don't think anyone snoozed throughout the whole day. (If any did, they would probably be the same ones who could snooze through a nuclear blast.)
I've read two of his books (On Combat & On Killing - read both twice) and purchased one of his other ones (Warrior Mindset) at the seminar, and got him to autograph it for me.
Just wondering if anyone else made it?

While Iím gone you take care of the love
And Iíll deal with the hate.
Donít worry about me; Iíll be all right
Just care for your children and sleep tight
Iíll keep you safe on my watch tonight

I never saw him, but I have read his work, and got the idea for my avatar and tagline from it!

No I'm afraid I couldn't make it happen.Do not war for peace. If you must war, war for justice. For without justice there is no peace. -me

Yep I was there It was hands down one of the best seminars I have been to in a long time.
I found myself on the drive home reflecting on the day and realizing that it was great to reaffirm to myself that I am a warrior and do have the warrior spirit inside me.

He has been here a couple of times and each time for some reason I could not make it. Those who have gone said it is an excellent seminar. No matter what I am doing the next time I am going to make sure I'm there.

I have one of his lectures on 4 CD's.
It's epic. I usually stick it in when I am driving between bases and listen to it again.
My buddy arranged for him to be the DV guest speaker for his Sapper School graduation, got a bunch of swag.
