I have seen this before. It made my stomach churn. I am mildly afraid of heights but that is ridiculous.
I'm not worried about falling but that sudden stop scares the crap out of me.*************************"It wouldn't take much for me to up and run...to another life somewhere in the sun."

I'm not scared of heights, but I do have a healthy respect for the potential consequences. I can't believe they do that without a safety rope.

I have jumped out of at least 7 different 'craft. Exit altitudes ranged from 3k-16k.
I would BASE off of that tower. To Live Is To Eat

A guy near here BASEed off a 2000 foot tower several years back. The chute did not open. It had been raining and he left a human-shaped imprint in the ground a couple of inches deep where he hit and died.

"It's a great life. You risk your skin catching killers and the juries turn them loose so they can come back and shoot at you again. If your honest , your poor your whole life. And , In the end , you wind up dying all alone on some dirty street. For what? For nothing. For a tin star."
Far from being a handicap to command, compassion is the measure of it. For unless one values the lives of his soldiers and is tormented by their ordeals , he is unfit to command.

There are just some things I don't have a big enough pair to do.
That definitely would be near the top (pun?) Of my list.
No way - - no how! Not in this lifetime. And likely not in the next one either.

I can guarantee it would, cause I would die from fright long before the fall would kill me.
Heights an I get along about as well as snakes and I do. NOT!!!

I'd wrap my safety line around the neck and string up the person trying to make me climb that thing.

I worked in fire towers for a while. The first few days I would have the shakes by the time I got to the top. Windy days, the whole thing rocks. The Gamecocks stadium is designed for the top levels to sway in the wind when it's loaded with people. No thanks, never again. I'm not a fan of cliffs or bridges. And when I was a kid I had a phobia about those stairs that are open between the treads, every time I'd go into the basement I just knew I was going to fall through and die. Don't even get me started about the metal mesh stairs and walkways that you can see through while you're standing on them.
In short, no way in hell.
