Couldn't hit the target with a bazooka!
I went out shooting the other day with a co-worker, and Man, did I shoot terrible! I couldn't have hit the target consistently with a fricken bazooka! I'm not usually a crack shot anyways, but this had to be the worst I've done. Needless to say, when I got back to work today after a few days off, I did my utmost to convince everyone that the other officer is a pathological liar and not to believe anything he said about my shooting!
For the morning will come. Brightly will it shine on the brave and true, kindly upon all who suffer for the cause, glorious upon the tombs of heroes. Thus will shine the dawn.

I love to shoot and am not a bad shot. I just wish I would make it to the range more often. Not to mention it can get rather expensive. Hope your aim improves.

I'm relieved to hear this.
SI VIS PACEM PARA BELLUM-Ex-Sheriff Martin Howe to Will Kane in "High Noon"
"It's a great life. You risk your skin catching killers and the juries turn them loose so they can come back and shoot at you again. If your honest , your poor your whole life. And , In the end , you wind up dying all alone on some dirty street. For what? For nothing. For a tin star."
Far from being a handicap to command, compassion is the measure of it. For unless one values the lives of his soldiers and is tormented by their ordeals , he is unfit to command.
