So I'm in the market (kind of) for a new firearm. I've always been wanted to try Thompson/Center Arms single shot Encore series. It's highly adaptable, having a wide range of barrels that can be interchanged based on needs. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with Encore or any T/C firearms. The online catalog is kind of confusing, and my paper one hasn't arrived yet. I don't think they sell directly to individuals, so in particular I'm wondering how much extra barrels cost and how easy is it to find a retailer. I haven't found any really decent firearms stores in my area yet so I may have to order them from somewhere. Anyone know of a good place to try? Has anyone seem them sold in a package deal with optics?

Maybe I will have to do a review, or invite you over to try it out. I'm hoping to find a place that has a good selection or orders in for a good price, but I may have to settle for the .30-30 the local store has and then order in additional barrels.
