Rifle/Shotgun Armorer Course in Central Ohio..

Our department is hosting a rifle and shotgun armorer course March 7-9. 2011. We are about 10 minutes Northwest of Columbus, and I'm sure we have more than a few hotels close by. The rifle course is 2 days for $350, the shotgun course is 1 day for $150, or you can take both for $450.

Training is being conducted by SLR Rifles through their training company called Defensive Edge Rifles. They've been around awhile, so we're hoping for some good training. The guy who runs this company is doing so to obviously make some money, but he's also tremendously helping out smaller departments with little to no budget (such as ours). When this class is complete, he will be donating 1-2 of his companies rifles to our department to be used as patrol rifles. These rifles will be used during the demonstration and teaching portion of the class, after which they will be donated to us. The more people we can get, it becomes possible for us to receive additional rifles.
