Conviction rates for DWI's
I debated on where to put this. LEO only. Restricted LEO and civilian. However, I decided to put this thread here just because.
Here is a link to Louisiana's DWI submittal, refusal and conviction rate from 1999 to 2007.

Note how when the offenses increase the convictions go down dramatically. The reason behind this is because when the offense increases so does the penality. A first offense DWI is a misdemeanor. The 894 denotation is Article 894 explained here.
