LEOs and non LEOs - what was your most memorable/notable/notorious memory, career related, of 2010?
Mine was not very exciting but I was pretty proud of it. I was instructed to do a complete remodel of our communications center. I was given a budget and allowed almost total authority as long as I stayed inside that budget. It came out pretty good!*************************"It wouldn't take much for me to up and run...to another life somewhere in the sun."

I got a trip to the ER for injuries sustained fighting with a wanted subject. Got dirt scrubbed out of road rash.
I came a couple inches from being run over by a car going 80 MPH. It was me or the spikes I threw in front of him and he tried to take me out. Killed himself in the process.
Applied and took a job at a LE agency 4000 miles away, completed lateral training, and started FTO.That which does not kill me, better start fucking running.

"It's a great life. You risk your skin catching killers and the juries turn them loose so they can come back and shoot at you again. If your honest , your poor your whole life. And , In the end , you wind up dying all alone on some dirty street. For what? For nothing. For a tin star."

Seriously, 2010 was the most boring year of my short career.
My 5th year has been capped off with literally NOTHING notable or interesting happening as far as I can remember. It could be because things that I used to think would be exciting aren't anymore...or it could just be because my year was boring. I dunno. I'm ready for 2011 though. No one has greater love than this, to lay down ones life for ones friends - John 15:13

I accepted a different (although still related) job with my company and although I was a little unsure about my abilities, I've exceeded my own expectations as well as those of my employer.
