Hunkering Down
We are expecting several inches of snow or 1/4 to 1/2 inches of ice tomorrow. Now I know that some of you will laugh at that but this will paralyze the area if it happens.
Got the truck and generator fueled and Cidp24a is at the grocery. We're ready!

LOL, as a kid growing up in the SoCal desert, even I was shocked that they called a snow day & cancelled school for an inch of snow. We were surrounded by mountains, so it's not like plowing was completely foreign to the area, even if we only got snow once every 5 years or so. Now that I have a home in New England, that memory makes me laugh even more.

Supposed to get 6 or so inches. Problem is that it will be above freezing for the first part of the day, so a layer of ice will be underneath. Demolition derby. Luckily, it's Sunday night anyways, our slowest night, so hopefully the weather keeps the few normally on the road at home.
The world would be much cleaner if blind people carried brooms instead of sticks.
At communion, when the priest says "Body of Christ", I say "Thanks, I've been working out", then I grab the cracker and run back to my seat

Well, it hasn't been all that bad and it's almost through the area. Got mostly ice, about 1/4 inch or a little less. The wrecks just started about an hour or a little more ago. No major power outages yet but we still have a little freezing rain to go and the winds have not kicked up yet.
