To all new members
I am just interested in seeing how many new members are thinking about going into law enforcement and havent actually made any steps to do so. For example havent started in any acadamy or schooling yet.

When I was in the academy, I never considered quitting. Even with torn ligaments in my ankle.

Im not a new member, so I hope I can post in this. The only reason why I haven't started in the academy or anything like that is that I am only 14. The only thing even relatively close that I have done is I became a Police Explorer last year

I have two years of active duty left on my contract, then I can pursue LE more actively. I am however taking online college courses.

I'm Currently a Federal Correctional Officer. I also am currently in Backgrounds with LASD so if I pass in the process then I will be going into another academy.

Started as a police explorer for LVMPD when I was 16. Moved to Henderson Cadets when I was 18 - 21. Im 22 and have 3 more weeks of the academy.
