Today is the 150th anniversary of the start of the US Civil War
And the world is still not free of civil wars or slavery, though the US is for the moment. Let's hope the day comes when such tragedies are permanently in our past.

Civil War is defined as a war to control a common government. The South wanted to form its own government and be independent was my meaning.
