Kudos to APD
On Wednesday, some jackwagon decided to kick in the front door of our house while I was at work and my wife was running errands. Luckily our German Shepherd, Husky, and Scotty Terrier did not approve of uninvited guests and barked to tell them
. The asshole(s) decided to exit the premises immediately. Nothing was taken. 3 APD officers responded and got to practice clearing our house and crawl space. The officers were courteous and walked with us to see if anything was missing. One of the officers suggested checking our checkbook to make sure they didn't take any checks from the back (so that we wouldn't notice until much later). I hadn't heard of that before.
Only harm done was a dent in our door and a little wood missing from the door frame.
Thanks again APD.Verified Libra- There sure are a lot of people born in August around here.

That's scary!
Glad nothing was stolen and none of you were harmed! It sounds like you have some great sheepdogs (both human and canine)!

Glad to hear your contact with them, while unfortunate it had to happen, was positive.
I've learned that a letter from someone goes a long ways with supervisors. I know my supervisors and our Chief REALLY enjoy getting letters from people in the community praising their officers.
If you think they deserve it, I'd suggest writing a letter to the department to commend the officers. I'm sure their supervisors, and the officers will appreciate the recognition. No one has greater love than this, to lay down ones life for ones friends - John 15:13

I'm very glad that no one was hurt and nothing was taken.
