Just received a phone call form a friend who told me his 16 y/o niece is missing. His niece's name is [redacted] and she was last seen at approx. 1115 PM last night. She is 5'9" tall, approx. 130lbs and was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, with skulls on it, blue jeans and black sketcher tennis shoes.

From what I gathered from my friend, she left the residence with a 28 y/o white male by the name of Todd. It is possible that the two are headed towards Texas, but that is not known for sure. If either are located, please contact the Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office or Pineville Police Dept.

From what my friend said when I talked to him, both Fort Polk and Vernon Parish Law enforcement agencies have been notified. I talked to him again a little while ago and to the best of his knowledge, Amy went with Todd voluntarily. Problem is, at 16, she can't make that decision without her mother's permission and Todd being 28 causes a few more problems. From what I was told, Todd is an ex-boyfriend of Amy's mother and it was found out very recently that Todd and Amy had formed a relationship, to which her mother obviously had a problem with.

To be clear about this, when I talked to my friend the second time he advised me it is suspected that Amy is with Todd, but honestly not known to be fact. It is known that he went to the house yesterday, but no one saw Amy leave with Todd.

Little...but not much. She's still hasn't been found. The family has heard of reports of seeing her walking on different Highways. Last report was today on I-49 headed South, just below Rapides Parish. Earlier in the day there was a report that someone thought they saw her on Hwy 71 which runs South of Alexandria/Pineville area a few miles East of I-49. The I-49 report was about 4 hours ago. Rapides Parish and Avoyelles Parish sent units to the area, but nothing.

Frustrating for the family for sure. At least there have been sightings. On the off chance she may be headed to the West coast, post up in here. We will keep an eye out too.

Just got off the phone with him minutes ago. They were just informed that Amy was found in a hotel room in Leesville, La. with Todd.

Amy is gonna get to spend the night in a juvenile facility and will be released to her family some time tomorrow. Todd gets to stay at the Vernon Parish Detention Center with a charge of Kidnapping. He was unsure if Todd was going to be charged with anything else. I was glad to hear that this all ended well. My buddy sends his thanks to all of you for keeping your eyes open and any prayers you may have sent up.
