The Sussex Police People: Live initiative used internet chat, blogs by officers, the website Twitter and a series of live internet broadcasts to try to give people fresh insight into their work.
However, some of the thousands who tuned in to watch the four live channels claimed it was less than illuminating.
Comments posted on the website included: “Come on all we have seen so far is a [sic] empty room, the post room, lots of closed doors and someone making the tea.”
