F my life
So I'm sick. Been sick for two weeks today. At first it was a cold, now it's in my chest and I'm positive I either have bronchitis or pneumonia.......and a wicked sinus infection that hurts like hell. Going to the doctor in 2 hours. First time to a non-dentist doctor since 2008.
Had to burn a week of sick time, probably going to have to take this week off too. Tried to go to work Friday night, ended up having to be checked out by paramedics when I couldn't breathe and almost passed out.
So of course I had court scheduled for today and tomorrow. The only thing going for me the past few weeks is that today's court got called off. Thank God, because I finally fell asleep at about 1, and was woken up at 4 when the power went out, and my son woke up and noticed his nightlight was out.
So i'm f'ing miserable right now.The world would be much cleaner if blind people carried brooms instead of sticks.
At communion, when the priest says "Body of Christ", I say "Thanks, I've been working out", then I grab the cracker and run back to my seat

Put on as many layers as possible, put a heating pad in your bed, cover up with every blanket and take a good nap and try to sweat some of it out. Turn up the house temp to about 75 as well

Shoestring has a good idea. But sometimes a person needs a good strong antibiotic to knock the illness out.
I hope you feel better in a few days. If you do, Shoestring and I will split the payment.

Police Officers put themselves at risk for strangers every day. Some do not make it home to their families. Next time you think of saying something negative about the police, remember...YOU are one of the strangers.

I had something similar a couple of months back, and the doc gave me some big-ass horse pills and an inhaler. It took another few days, but it cleared up. Good luck and I hope you feel better soon.
For the morning will come. Brightly will it shine on the brave and true, kindly upon all who suffer for the cause, glorious upon the tombs of heroes. Thus will shine the dawn.

I think it is the pollen being so bad this year. LOTS of sick folks, same symptoms, around here.

Sorry to hear of the misery. I know how it feels. My chronic sinus issues usually get treated with augmentin. If it gets a little more involved I get levaquin. A nasal steroid (flonase) helps speed the healing.

So I have a viral lung infection, and a sinus infection. Gotta miss two more nights of work, but the meds work fast. I feel 50% better after just taking one dose.

It's called the "lingering crud . Don't take it to work and share it with others. Get some meds from your doctor and get lots of rest and fluids. I get a flu shot in Nov each year, seems to help.
