I know this event is old but it showed up in a recent newsletter and I thought I would share it with you.
Belk fundraiser for police officer a heartwarming success
The lady in the second photo is known as the "cheesecake lady." She bakes desserts for the police and fire departments in her area on a weekly basis, (or as much as she is able).
She is very much a police supporter and does whatever she can to let the area officers know they're doing a good job and that she appreciates them.
I told her about this site. I think she would love the information here and especially the officers and supporters.
She is my hero and also my sister.
