Parental word of wisdom.

When you were a kid, what words of wisdom did your parents give? The one I remember most is my dad telling me, :"There's really only two kinds of jobs in the world. There's the kind where you shower before work, and there's the kind where you shower after work. You want the one where you shower before work."

But... I've got the type where you shower before and after... and sometimes during work... :doh::confused:

Step father: You're nothing and you'll never amount to nothing. (Injustice)
Mother: Consider the source and ignore it. (Indifference)
Grandmother: Get in the car, we're going to church. (In God we trust)

Other fatherly words of advice: My Dad before he gave us a spanking, " Your soul may belong to God, buy your ass belongs to me!"
