Yesterday at WalMart.
My wife and I went to WalMart yesterday to pick-up a few things. The greeter is a man named Rich. Rich is mentally challenged and a couple of years ago, football pro Donald Driver owned a Chevy dealership in the village I patrol. Rich mentioned he was a big fan, so I got him a t-shirt from the dealership. Anyways, every since then, if Rich sees me in the store, he comes over and shakes my hand. He knows I'm a cop, and always calls me :"Sir." Yesterday, Rich saw me, and as usual, he came over to shake my hand. I talked with him for a minute, and when I was ready to walk away, he held out his hand again, and while I was shaking it, he looked at me and said, "Keith, you take care of yourself and be safe." I thanked him and he said, "That's how friends should talk to each other." I told him, "Your Right, Rich. You take care of yourself too." The smile on his face made my day.
For the morning will come. Brightly will it shine on the brave and true, kindly upon all who suffer for the cause, glorious upon the tombs of heroes. Thus will shine the dawn.

Little things in this world can be great. That would not be a little thing to me. Honest heartfelt sincerity is few and far between nowdays.

I hope this doesn't sound wrong but at least you know he was sincere. I have little doubt he had different motives.

Things like that go a long way.

Well I see why you don't shave Keith. I guess it would get kinda depressing looking at that ugly mug of yours in the mirror every morning.
