Puerto Rico
Do you think Puerto Rico should be a state? I do. I feel that the people of Puerto Rico contribute a lot to our country and are entitled to the benefits of statehood.What say you?

They don't necessarily WANT to be a State... As I recall, the issue has come up a few times, and they've chosen not to become a state.
Voting against incumbents until we get a Congress that does its job.

If they meet all the criteria to be a state which I'm sure they do, I think it's up to the people of Puerto Rico. I'm with Jks9199 , I think the issue has been addressed in the past and the majority of the people were against statehood.

They cant vote, pay federal income taxes but get full benefits of citizenship. Why become a state, they get it made.
