Here is an old abandoned house that caught fire yesterday. I was on my way home and stopped to assist the crews that were there. There was a construction crew there doing some demolition work when there house caught on fire. It was right by the highway and mighty toasty!It is better to be tried by 12, than carried by 6.

It was awful, you could see the smoke for miles away. The flames were very hot, but at least it was a rainy day and it didn't get the chance to spread anywhere else. That poor tree is gone though, poor birds and squirrels! lol

Just because your sign off after you're shift is done, doesn't mean that it's over and put blinders on. You're a cop 24/7 wether you like it or not. If thats something you can't handle, you should find a new line of work!

Yeah, we would have been in some deep crap with that lol....
Not sure if there would be an insurance pay out, it was abandoned.. Funny thing is it used to be an insurance office, at one time a Sheriff's deputy lived there, and a small family lived there one time as well. The kids loved to vandalize it. It sits beside a church, so I guess they loved putting their little gang tags on the side facing the church. The church would paint back over it. Finally, the little thugs stopped tagging the building!!It is better to be tried by 12, than carried by 6.

A fond memory; a few of my friends (deaf and hearing combination) and I went to a big club years ago where they played "Disco Inferno" plus other song like "You Touch My Hot Line." Lovely, we all sweat and kept on dancing. Soon, they'll be playing in Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on August 17th for Disco Inferno again. I guess I can't. Originally Posted by kdm0409
