Duck still alive after months with arrow stuck in its head
A Muscovy duck has been living in a St. Petersburg neighborhood with an arrow stuck through its head for months, and residents say nobody will do anything about it.
Pinellas Animal Control said they don't usually respond to duck calls but will send an officer out to try and capture it. A veterinarian at the Gateway Animal Hospital said he'll remove the arrow if someone brings the duck in.

That's not an arrow, it's a cheap crossbow bolt. Some dipshit got a pistol grip style crossbow and decided to try it out on the local easy targets. Muscovy ducks are large don't quack, they hiss and can seem aggressive. The males are just plain ugly. Someone decided it wouldn't be a big deal to try and kill one.
