Got "scope bit" a couple of weeks ago. Hurt like hell, needed 5 stutches. How many of you have had this happen?
In case you don't know, scope bit means that a scope hit you in the face while shooting.

Nope. It's a rookie mistake to get too close to the scope. :biggrin1:
A friend of mine did it with my .300win mag. I warned him first and he said "I know what I'm doing". After receiving his black eye, and his wife finished laughing, I asked if he still knew what he was doing
Ouch! Hope it heals up soon.
How's the eye today Popeye? :D
I never was "scope bit", but I have hit my nose with my thumb. Most rifle stocks are too darn short for me.
I have been.
When I was in grade school and first learning to shoot a rifle.
Not me but I warned my oldest brother one time, he didn't listen and he got it good, a nice half moon and blood everywhere...:biggrin1:
