Thread: Scope bit

Got "scope bit" a couple of weeks ago. Hurt like hell, needed 5 stutches. How many of you have had this happen?
In case you don't know, scope bit means that a scope hit you in the face while shooting.YOUR ATTENTION, DO I F@#%ING HAVE IT?
I swear to Christ, if I survive this I'm gonna dance a jig!

Nope. It's a rookie mistake to get too close to the scope.To be born an Englishman, is to be a winner in the Lottery of Life.

I never was "scope bit", but I have hit my nose with my thumb. Most rifle stocks are too darn short for me.For the morning will come. Brightly will it shine on the brave and true, kindly upon all who suffer for the cause, glorious upon the tombs of heroes. Thus will shine the dawn.

I have been.
When I was in grade school and first learning to shoot a rifle.The world would be much cleaner if blind people carried brooms instead of sticks.
At communion, when the priest says "Body of Christ", I say "Thanks, I've been working out", then I grab the cracker and run back to my seat

Not me but I warned my oldest brother one time, he didn't listen and he got it good, a nice half moon and blood everywhere...Job security...
