Scope bit
Got "scope bit" a couple of weeks ago. Hurt like hell, needed 5 stutches. How many of you have had this happen?
In case you don't know, scope bit means that a scope hit you in the face while shooting.YOUR ATTENTION, DO I F@#%ING HAVE IT?
I swear to Christ, if I survive this I'm gonna dance a jig!

Nope. It's a rookie mistake to get too close to the scope.

A friend of mine did it with my .300win mag. I warned him first and he said "I know what I'm doing". After receiving his black eye, and his wife finished laughing, I asked if he still knew what he was doing

I never was "scope bit", but I have hit my nose with my thumb. Most rifle stocks are too darn short for me.

I have been.
When I was in grade school and first learning to shoot a rifle.The world would be much cleaner if blind people carried brooms instead of sticks.
At communion, when the priest says "Body of Christ", I say "Thanks, I've been working out", then I grab the cracker and run back to my seat

Not me but I warned my oldest brother one time, he didn't listen and he got it good, a nice half moon and blood everywhere...
