Right around 30 lbs with everything we wear at work (not counting Tac gear)'Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a
delusional, illogical liberal minority, and rabidly
promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which
holds forth the proposition that it is entirely
possible to pick up a turd by the clean end!'

I never weighed it but with the belt, gear and vest, it must be at least 25 pounds. For the morning will come. Brightly will it shine on the brave and true, kindly upon all who suffer for the cause, glorious upon the tombs of heroes. Thus will shine the dawn.

30-35lbs with boots and all.
I've developed a drag racer mentality when it comes to duty gear. When you start saving ounces you will lower the lbs.
Switched to ASP handcuffs. Only carry one pair on my belt. If I go to something where more are needed I put them in my cargo pocket.
Not for weight savings, but swapping to a 9mm Glock help with the ammo. Hmm, more ammo and less weight with equal if not better performance [can O worms opened]
If I could ever get into a PR-24 class I would drop my extendable baton for one of those that I could put on the belt as I get out of the car. You can do more with them anyway.
Went from real leather to fake. No one has noticed, but it saved about 1.5lbs.
It all adds up.
I keep telling myself to take Xiphos's advice and get the back defender too.
Last but not least, dropped 20lbs of my own fat a$$.

I used to wear suspenders and they were awesome. But once I got an external vest carrier I stopped wearing the suspenders and I haven't really had any back problems flare back up.No one has greater love than this, to lay down ones life for ones friends - John 15:13
