Something to think about!
"
You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, "I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along."

You're right.

I agree as well
I have found that women have a lot of fight in them as well....would rather have to "fight" a man arresting them then a woman.....lol
A woman is the only one who has kicked out my windows......and....are the only ones I have had to "hobble" as wellAny Post I make is my opinion only!

I've seen grown men who were hesitant to mess with an angry kitten.

I didn't say I was hesitant, lol just that I have found women to have more fight.....but quess I should qualify that and maybe it is a weakness (mentality) I need to over come.....
I don't hold back when it comes to a "fight" with a man, when a woman is involved I don't go full out or take them to the ground as often......I let it go on a little longer before "letting them have it" because I don't want it said that a "big bad cop" abused a woman while arresting her....although I have never had a complaint and have used force accordingly to policies....I don't use the same force Continuum with a woman unless it involves a weapon.
And no Ducky that doesn't apply to the martial arts....I'm sure in your training he wasn't treating you differently because you are female.
Speaking of "he" we need to drag his ass in here and get him posting!!! lolAny Post I make is my opinion only!

Yep, "he" does, and now we both get to harass him about it next time we see him. And my comment about the kitten wasn't in any way aimed at anyone, in fact, I aspire to be that kitten. If I can make something 100 times my size back up and take notice, then I've done something I'm pretty damn proud of.

It'll be easier to train with an instructor again.
