Tomorrow is the Big Day
.....that I start my Marine Patrol job!!!
A lot of people have been pm'ing me asking how it's going, well I finally start tomorrow. I work from 11am-6pm, and will be working with a senior officer. Have a few butterflies, but am excited. Thus will begin my complete education about the boating world, because as of right now I know whatever is in the book they gave me and that's it. lol.
Tried on my uniform today, bwahahhaahahahahah, I look the cross between Ranger Rick the Kiddies friend and a UPS driver.
Will let you know how it goes.There’s a promise I need you to make

Howdy kids,
Well I'm still here, take that as a good sign, I didn't drown, my senior officer didn't drown me, the boat is in one piece, and no one died. I call that a success! It was a fun day, looooooooooooong, hot and sunny. We pulled over and talked to almost 30 boats, between three lakes, and only cited one person for insufficent PFDs (we could have written a lot more though, but we're nice ). So it was a good day, the more and more I get myself in different LE positions I get a little bit more confident that LE was the right path to start heading down, still got a long way to go, but the scenery thus far looks good. 
Going to bed now I'm beat, lol.
