Get Ready, Boys!
Get ready, here's what some of you will have the pleasure of chasing in 2007.

The 2007 Chevrolet Camaro. Sounds like about 175 mph top end.

Ohh, I agree. I guarantee I will buy either the new Camaro or the new Dodge Challenger. It's been years since American automakers have turned out performance machines like these for less than $50,000.

Wonder how much the thing will be. I'm assuming a decent one would run $25k to $30k? Having never bought a new car I'm not up on pricing

For the first year I am guessing a $35,000 MSRP, with dealers adding
as much as a $5,000+ market adjustment. Just like they did on the
Mustang GT for the last year or two.

$40K??
-
06-06-06, 11:13 PM #7If it wants to compete with the Mustang they'll haver to lower that price. You can get a Mustang GT for under 30K now.

That is BAD! Who ever said muscle cars were dead?
I would chase this thing just to ask for a ride!
Me and a buddy saw one of those new Ford GT40's come through the other day..........That thing is BAD too. We were taking bets on how hard it would be to catch it. Don't think I would even try.
My 'Vic is frickin' FAST, but I don't think I would waste the gas on something like that unless they killed someone!

Here is an article on the new Camaro from GM High Tech

You probably won't have to worry about the new until late 2009 to early 2010. My opinion on the car...looks good except for the grill.

I think the timetable has changed. They are gonna crank it up to compete with the new Dodge Challenger. Only time will tell though.
By the way, always remember auto magazines are the "media" also.

Everything ive read has it marked to come out late 2009. When i bought my car i said i would never get rid of it, but im thinking of a trade-in.
There are a few pictures of a new Firebird/ Trans Am going around the net but nothing official. They just look like someone took a pic of the new camaro and played with it in photoshop.

Poor mans car? dude, The Mustang is the best! crown vics are awsome cars also...
I always say, "if it's not a Ford, it's out the Door!"
Law Enforcement here drive the crown vic, they started this in 1990 after a bad year in the 80's with chevys and dodge. Ford's just last longer
