You going to be in KCK or KCMO there is a slight difference.

I'm not from Kansas City nor am I a police officer.... but I spent a lot of time down there last year. Although most of it was at the Jackson County Family Court.... I did do the whole obligatory Worlds of Fun experience.

FYI: If you're going to go to WOF, make sure to check if they're open first! That made for a interesting trip.......

I meant the times they're open.

Apparently they like to close the gate at 4:30pm.

Check out the Wesport area, good bars, and comedy club. There are casinos on the river.

Westport is just to the north of the Plaza area. The Plaza has some good places to eat too,, kinda pricey though. Take the time to go to the top of the hotel to the part that revolves, it is a good view of the city.

Yes, you could walk to them, just ask at the hotel. Are you driving to KC or flying to KCI?

One of my troopers will be in KC for Defense tactics instructor training 7-16 thru the 21st. KC has some great B-Bq places, a huge Cabelas and lots of other stuff.

Well depending on when you have to fly out I might be able to come hang with you. Right now I am working the midnight shift so I get off at 8am. My last day of work is on the 16th before I go on vacation ( Thur and Fri are my days off). Let me know when your flying out I might be able to hang with you for a few hours.
