facts from the LA Times.

1. L.A. County has 10 million people. 40% of all workers in L.A. County
are
working for cash and not paying taxes. This is because they are
predominantly illegal immigrants, working without a green card.

2. Of the 10 million people in L.A. County, 5.1 million people speak
English. 3.9 million speak only Spanish.

3. 95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens.

4. 75% of people on the most wanted list in Los Angeles are illegal
aliens.

5. Over two-thirds of all births in Los Angeles County are to illegal
alien
Mexicans on Medi-Cal whose births were paid for by taxpayers.

6. Nearly 25% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican
nationals here illegally.

7. Over 300,000 illegal aliens in Los Angeles County are living in
garages.

8. The FBI reports half of all gang members in Los Angeles are most likely
illegal aliens from south of the border.

9. Nearly 60% of all occupants of HUD properties are illegal.

10. 21 radio stations in L.A. are Spanish language only.

We need to look at the experience of California as inevitable for the rest
of us - if we don't, we're only burying our heads in the sand and
bequeathing that future to our children! After all, if we keep merrily
careening down the road to California, we can't be dumbfounded when we
actually end up in California, can we?!
Here are a few more facts on a national scale:

1. Less than 2% of illegal aliens are picking our crops but 36% are on
welfare.

2. Over 70% of the United States annual population growth (and over 90% of
California, Florida, and New York) results from immigration.
3. The United States receives more immigrants every year than the rest of
the world combined.
4. The cost of immigration to the American taxpayer in 1997 was a NET
(after subtracting taxes immigrants pay) $70 BILLION a year [Professor Donald
Huddle, Rice University].

5. The lifetime fiscal impact (taxes paid minus services used) for the
average adult Mexican immigrant is a NEGATIVE.

6. 29% of inmates in federal prisons are illegal aliens.

I'd be happy if they just learned enough English to say "sorry, I dialed 911 by mistake - I was trying to call Mexico," so we didn't have to break units from real emergencies because they don't answer on call back.

Ill add another little tid bit. A few years ago in NC the state government had to cut several hundred state jobs from the budget because there wasn't enough money. Yet the same budget had over $200 million dollars in it for Illegal Immigrant health care. But, they are here to work and support their families.....Yea on our money!!!!

As if you didn't have enough to be pissed about already: My wife was a dispatcher with the SO who quit her job to be a stay-at-home mom. We got DENIED government assistance! This would not make me so angry, except for the fact that there are ILLEGALS here in town who are getting Medicaid, WIC and Food Stamps! How does that work, you ask? I asked and this is the explanation I got: The adults are illegal, but they have babies after they come here and that makes the entire family eligible for government assistance. I am working TWO jobs to buy Spaghettios and these bastards are cashing checks paid by my tax money to buy crank and 30" dubs for their gansta-rides! Pisses me off. And before anyone out there starts calling me racist or anti-immigrant.....FORGET IT! I am ANTI-SCUMBAG and that's exactly what these people are! Get your frickin' hands out of my pockets and go make your own way.

I just had to read this thread cause I wasnt sure if there were illegal immigrants, everytime i had some illegals INS or ICE or whatever they want to call themselves would never come get anyone. They would say to release them

If their children are born here, they are automatically citizens.

Most social service agencies do not require proof of citizenship to apply for benefits, and there is a thriving black market for fake papers/identities.

Years back, there was a huge scandal when a school bus was spotted stopping near the border to pick up students living in Mexico who went to school in the US.

I can't stand the situation as is. Everytime I work a wreck where an illegal has left the scene I have to tell the victim of the hit and run they are out of luck without insurance. I have had hispanics ask me why I don't speak spanish

Can yo believe that shit!!!? I usually start yelling random phrases in German and ask them why the fuck can't they speak German. Usually freaks them out pretty good. The fact is fuck'em. I no longer give a shit about their family or their problems. Everyone else has problems and families too, but they contribute to the system. They are parasites period. Until Americans get off their collective asses and vote out the status qou career politicians get used to it. Wheww rant off..........

The US Government has released the results of the Nationwide survey on Immigration.

The results are as follows:

47% of those surveyed replied "yes, immigration is a problem that needs to be addressed"

The remaining 53% of those surveyed replied "No Habla Ingles"

This is not entirely true. There is still a lot of red tape before they can become citizens.

I used to believe that too, until ICE explained it to me.

The bottom line is they (illegal immigrants) will never go away and there is nothing that us as joe blow citizens can do about it. Except BITCH and MOAN.

Don't get me wrong. I wish we could get rid of all of them, but that will never happen!

Damn! And here I was using the US as a shining example of how to deal with illegal immigrants, turns out your getting rear ended with this shit as we are.

We changed our laws concerning children born here, now they get thrown out with the parents but can come back when they are 18. Thats the theory anyway, most still get too stay on humanitarian grounds.

Our problems are with the liberal politicians who feel they need to cater to the illegals. During the marches the illegals were saying you must listen to us were here now and were going to vote. How does an Illegal person get the right to vote in this country?? They are illegal, your not a citizen, you shouldn't have any rights except the damn miranda rights as I read them to you. We too used to call Immegration when we got illegals they told us that unless we housed them in jail till we got a minimum of one bus load they wouldn't come get them. And once we did get a bus load there was no timeline when they would show up. I don't know of any jail or county that can carry that type of a burden waiting to get immigration to come pick them up. It's time we completly shut off any and all assistance that they can have access to, foodstamps, medicare, etc. etc. etc.
In NC the state now prints the drivers exam book and written test in Spanish...why, there are no Spanish road signs out there??

I have no problem with them so long as they come over legally. I have had run ins with those that have lived in this country for years and have not done anything to attempt to gain citizenship.

What further complicates the matters is when we get the illegals in jail, we have to have them fill out a consulate form, wether they want their consulate help or not. INS has told us that unless we have 15 or more, dont bother calling them cause they wont come out and deal with it.

Very frustrating on so many levels.
