As it's 5.20am here in the UK, and now 4th July....

Can I wish our American members, forum readers and brother LEOs a happy Independance Day...

I can't wait to shoot of some fireworks tonight!
That's what the 4th is all about. Honoring our country and blowing stuff up while getting drunk. That "Adult Supervision" warninig on the side of fireworks seems funny when you're shoving M80's into a wine bottle that you just finished.

More important than this minor US tradition, is the fact that it's the date I retired!

Happy 4th!!!!
Thanks to the Brtis for letting us beat them, so we could have this day.
There’s a promise I need you to make
While I’m gone you take care of the love
And I’ll deal with the hate.
Don’t worry about me; I’ll be all right
Just care for your children and sleep tight
I’ll keep you safe on my watch tonight

If your enemy is secure at all points, be prepared for him. If he is in superior strength, evade him. If your opponent is temperamental, seek to irritate him. Pretend to be weak, that he may grow arrogant. If he is taking his ease, give him no rest. If his forces are united, separate them. If sovereign and subject are in accord, put division between them. Attack him where he is unprepared, appear where you are not expected.
