Get fucked up, then play with the fireworks. When you run out of fireworks, let me know. I have a bunch of flashbangs and breeching explosives that you can play with.
Hmmmm.... I gotta go; I have an idea. Happy 4th (its like our Cinco de Mayo)

You should still be okay at 10

Just make sure to put your fireworks on something stable. The drunks last night only let the artillery shells fall into our direction once.

Guys used to bang finishing nails into the top of fence posts.
Screw sticks of dynamite onto them;
the start out at about 1000 meters and shoot at them.
If you missed then you went to 900 meters, and so on;
great fun.

If your enemy is secure at all points, be prepared for him. If he is in superior strength, evade him. If your opponent is temperamental, seek to irritate him. Pretend to be weak, that he may grow arrogant. If he is taking his ease, give him no rest. If his forces are united, separate them. If sovereign and subject are in accord, put division between them. Attack him where he is unprepared, appear where you are not expected.

Back in the day our FD used to put them off on July 4. We would sit at the local lake and take donations all day............and drink beer. At 10pm we set them off. Now you have to realize these were the big ones you have to have an ATF permit for.
Our rule was if you were too drunk to walk to the morters without help then you were too drunk to light them.
Nothing like setting off 5 inch morter when your about a 0.12.
