Do spammers like this one use computer programs to register and then post? Or does an actual person go through the process of registering and posting? The latter seems like a lot of trouble if their goal is just to spread spam to wide audiences with minimal effort.

My guess is it's probably a combination of both... I'm not a spammer so I really don't know.

Spammers have nothing better to do with their lives other than to annoy people.

I was asking if it was legal to order Spam on this site and now your telling me yes it's illegal. So are you telling me that it's illegal to order on this site or that Spam is illegal? I'm confused.

Yes some of them have software that automatically seeks out forums of specific types, creates usernames, then does a post. So you're just replying to a spambot in many cases.

That's why some sites have starting using the image verification, where you have to type in numbers from a distorted image. The images are distorted so OCR (Optical Character Recognition) programs can't read the images correctly (now), but humans can.

The text from one spam LEF got was listed in Google on thousands of forums, selling several products. I doubt that a human created all those accounts & posted those threads.

The original post had several webb sites to buy Xanax along with some other narcotics. The spam can was placed there by Signal_W in place of all the webb links.

Before I could view one of the links I had to place my XP disk in the disk drive so it could load the Japanese thingy to the thingy so I could read the thingy. Make sense?
