Segways are goofy, but this looks awesome
This is a new concept, 4-wheel version of the Segway called the Segway Centaur. It looks like it would be a hell of a lot more fun to ride, and a lot less stupid looking. (Scroll down slightly for video.)

Looks like an old mans get around town vehicle. Is that why you wanted one, Trojan? Honestly though, The handle bars look a little low, I bet that thing would kill your back after a bit. Looks pretty manuverable, but how much gear can it carry?

I agree that the forward lean looks uncomfortable. How fast can it go, and how can we make it faster? Does the "police package" come with a shotgun/patrol rifle rack? LOL

But it does look like a good Community Policing tool. The kids in the neighborhood would love it and come around. And I think you could sneek up on thugs and have fun chasing them down. Just wouldnt want to be on it for to long of a time.

i wouldnt mind haveing one, doubt it would last more than one day of me jumping ditches with it, you see in the video how many times they cut away to some other thing they were doing, i bet going up that hill drained the battery pretty quick. yuppy ATV is right...I wouldnt mind having one, i aint gonna go out any buy one...They say they go a hair over 20 mph so it wouldnt be fast enough. Yeah, pretty much. ATVs are a lot of fun but I've always been afraid of flipping one over on top of me, and this would give lots more balance. And it's a lot cooler than something like a sled, which is useless in Texas anyway. Too bad it'd be a lot more expensive.
