The art of the green smiley.
Let us stop and reflect upon the beauty of the green, big grinnin' smiley. It can be used to share an emotion, or a tone of voice. It can be used to reply to many things. It can be used to highlight a reply or posting, or can be used by itself as a reply all in it's own.
The green smiley, also known as Frank, is around all of my posts because he is loyal, unlike the love of a woman (except for 1*girl, growler, roses, lynnz, autumn2009, ducky, katiemh, pdawg and Reca).
The icon that is loved by many, is used by few, but I intend to use it as much as possible. I feel that I am in love with this smiley and that we have a very understanding relationship.
Others use this smiley in their posts. I do not mind this, as long as it is done in good taste. I have seen poor examples of the use of him in prior posts and he has told me that he has been hurt and disapointed over this improper use.
I pledge to you, oh green, toothy smiley, that we will always be together.

OK, I will revert to his long name, Mr. Green Smiley. I would love to join all of the happy smilies for a party, but tonight is no good for us. We are spending this time alone and using it to reflect upon the things we have just done.
The gratuitus (sp) use of the big green smiley needs to stop. It is tearing us apart. Please, be respectful of the green smiley.
