Years ago, my brother was outside of a movie theater and started to hear a strange sound coming from inside a trash can. I think he described it as a hissing. He walked over to it and when he was about to look inside, he was knocked off his feet by the explosion of some similar sort of bottle bomb. Luckily he wasn't hurt, but the cops found the idiots responsible and last I heard they were facing some pretty serious charges.

So, my wife is cooking dinner the other night after watching several Taser videos with me. I then came out and activated the laser on my taser, came around the corner and siad "ready, honey?". She just looked at me. So, I pulled the trigger. Teach her to call my bluff.
Okay, so the cartridge was off and I was standing five feet away with the Taser in Drive-stun/spark test mode. But she did jump pretty good.And Shepards we shall be,

Makes me wonder if the kids playing with the ice bombs got to see MythBusters before I did...
Ok, hey I admit it, I did some dumb things as a kid and as a teen. I also know how much those damn things hurt when I goofed up playing with that stuff.
I remember one time trying to make something like a frag grenade. Ok, what I actually did was dipped a firecracker in melted candle wax and then rolled it on the ground to make it pick up some rocks and stuff.
To this day my dad doesn't know where that crack in one of the house windows came from and I think I may save that for a "Deathbed confessional". It was stupid and I felt stupid after doing it.
But on the other side of this story....
Isn't Science Neat??? LOL!!!

Cherry bomb + 1 large coffee can filled with water + 1 smaller coffee can with a couple holes punched in the top.
Small can upside down with fuse of cherry bomb through the hole inserted into water filled can....lite fuse and step back....cool!
