Anyone else think that coffee is the Nector of Gods? Just wondering if I am the only one and need serious psycho help or if there is more?

As far as the coffe goes though, I have cut down quite a bit. I was drinking about a gallon a day. Now I am down to about two quarts. Any coffee will do, provided it strong, black and nasty.

I stay away from it. I never really liked it, but occassionally on cold days (which in TN are few and far between) I will have a little.

I'm a Sonic slush person, but no caffeine just a little vodka every now and then lol j/k

I like coffee a lot, but not the foo foo stuff. I got used to the stuff that sit for a couple hours on the burner behind the bar of some dive where I took my breaks.

I ain't spending 3 to 5 bucks for a cuppa coffee though. The stuff Denny's serves in fine....

I got some starbucks stuff that was one step shy of espresso except it was about 24 ounces of it...

Good way to get ya going... $1.80 by the way RDS... which also happens to be my limit for a cup...

Coffee? What's that? Oh, the stuff that Cops makes every morning. I'll pass. If I need a quick picker upper, I'll grab a Code Red with lots of ice. Gots to have lots of ice. No ice... no can do.

LOL, the human body only needs 4 hrs sleep. I break mine up into intervals, lmao.

lol, Ya know I don't remember the drive to work this morning. Ever get that way? It takes me about 40 minutes and I switch into my patrol car about half way at the county line. I remember getting in the patrol car, but then the drive the rest of the way I don't really remember. hmmmm. Oh well!

Between me and my Lt, the FIRST thing that whoever gets to the office first in the mornings does is MAKE COFFEE and put it in one of those pump thermos things. We are both coffee fiends and one of us repeats this ritual about 3 times a day. The Dept furnishes coffee but getting it from supply is a pain so one of us frequently sneaks down stairs and raids the patrol division stash to resupply CID. I think if I got cut I'd bleed coffee!
