What's The Funniest Name You've Ever Had on a Suspect?
Be it traffic stops, transients, or any type of contact...........what is the funniest name ever in your job? I had a traffic stop once where the dude's name was Harry Balliker. I tried to run him for warrants three times and couldn't do it. The second officer on scene tried it twice. The third officer tried it twice. We finally had to do it over the cell phone because we were all laughing to hard to do it on the radio. Poor guy must've had a rough childhood or just sick parents. Only thing worse I can think of is a girl I dated in high school: Her name was Kelly Dick........Her mom's name was ANITA!

OK, you asked for it. We had a clown we dealt with years ago whose name was - - - are y'all ready for this one? DELICIOUS PETERS!
Honest injun. I think everybody kept this guy's d/l number handy so we could jack with new dispatchers. Every time we got a new dispatcher, someone would call in a driver's license check by his number, and wait to hear the newbie stumble trying to give the info back to us over the radio.
Of course we usually did that on night shift when there was less chance of the brass being on the air. Always got some major laughs out of that one.
Of course, eventually the comm supervisors got tired of it and ratted us out. Oh, well, we had fun with it for a while.

Asian gentleman, Fuk Yu. As I was reading his ID, his wife was laughing. Without me saying anything, she blurts out "that's really his name, funny huh?"
My response, "Have a nice day, sir." Poor bastard.

FSCF and I were talking to a dude from Sri Lanka. His name was only about 35 letters long with the first 4 being P-O-O-P (Poopalosomathanaman or something like that.)
FSCF says to him, Sir do you mind if we call you Poop?
Of course the guy is like, "Oh yes sir, yes sir, thank you sir."
FSCF: Ok then, Poop, what's in your trailer.....
THe whole fucking conversation he was calling him POOP.
I had to leave.

We have a professor at the University I work at named Ding Do. Oh and my grandpa had a cousin named Nick Knock. Kinda off topic cuz I haven't arrested either of them, but they are funny names nonetheless
What I say is my opinion, not my employers or that of my academic institution.

my first fto was telling me about an individual he came in contact with on a traffic stop, shithead (shi thead is how pronounced it). i thought he was messing with me. then we were talking about it another time and an officer came up and said he stop shithead the other day and no one believed him. it keep a list of names i come across. had a orangejello. lot of the names i have no idea how to pronounce. maybe that is why everyone has a nickname.

on his wearing his sidearm. "Sheriff, I see you have your pistol. Are you
expecting trouble?" "No Ma'am. If I were expecting trouble, I would have
brought my rifle."
