A Little Too Much
I woke up to a newsbreak on CNN this morning and they were freaking out. They said there was a United Airlines flight bound for Atlanta and forced to land in Dallas by USAF fighter planes. They went on and on and I realized what day it was and I started freaking out. Then the real story slowly unfolded and there were NOT any fighters and it WAS NOT terrorism and the plane simply had to land due to a malfunctioning electronic sensor. JESUS, news people. Thanks for scaring the shit out of me!

It's annoying how news organizations are so eager to scoop other groups that they'll call false alarms like that. Media competition is not a real good thing, especially when it comes to them making news where there isn't any.

I wonder if our Founding Fathers new how the media would be today, if they would have been so eager to pen "Freedom of the Press"?
