Ass Backward Laws

Hey everyone:

Through chatting with ghost98,I just got a helluva idea for a thread. What are some really jacked up laws in your area that are just plain STUPID!?!? I have a prime example! In the state of Nebraska you get an MIP (Minor In Possession of alcohol), the max penalty is $500 fine, community service, six months probation, and it stays on your record until you turn eighteen. If the SAME kid gets popped with less than an ounce of pot, it's a $100 fine, no court appearance, no probation, nothing. One hundred dollars! It's like a speeding ticket. And the teens around here will tell you that it's much easier to get pot than beer. What's F****D up about the laws in your state?

Cross the border with a 1/2 oz of weed. $500 mitigated penalty. Cross the border with 2 oranges in your lunch box, SAME penalty.

How about here in the left state of Oregon were doctor assisted suicide and medical marijuana are legal,
But pumping your own gas is against the law…..

This was brought up elsewhere but in Texas you can get into a lot more trouble safely packing a bowie knife than safely packing a loaded shotgun or assault rifle.

Illegal Knife: Class A Misdemeanor
Long Gun: Nothing (Or a Class C Disorderly Conduct if they can prove that you displayed it to alarm the public, I think).

But don't take my word for it - I'm not gonna bail you out or pay your doctor bills when you get shot - And if you point it at someone, or happen to be robbing the local stop & rob while you're holding it, both the penality and chance of getting shot jumps up considerably
