    In TSA's defense the screeners are only human. They miss things, not all bags have peoples names on them, at my airport we get about 50 unattended bag calls a shift. 9 times out of 10 they don't have name tags on them. You wouldn't believe all the things people leave at screening. plus not all screening stations are video taped

    Having just travelled to the US for the first time, I found the TSA to be polite and reasonably diligent, unlike some of the cops (border police or something similar) at Newark Airport.

    If the dumbells at the FAA were smart enough to train and arm every pilot and to allow all sworn police officers to carry their firearms September 11, 2001 would have been just another day. The TSA would not even exist today.

    I can't fault the people who take the screeners jobs when the real problem are the non-law enforcement jerks that created the TSA.
