Just have to brag....
I got off work this morning at 0700. I went home and got some sleep and got up around 1215 hrs. I made some coffee and sat down to check my emails and pop into a forum or two as I was shaking off the sleep monster.
My wife says she wants to go shopping. Ugh! Not my favorite thing to do.
I asked, "What for?"
She says "gun shopping"! She's getting ready right now and as soon as I hit the "Submit New Thread" button on this, I'm going to be waiting in the car. Life is good!

Just got back. Life really is good!
She is still trying to find two single action .45LC revolvers for her Cowboy Mounted Shooting thing that she does. We checked out a bunch of them at a couple of places. She has narrowed down what models she's interested in, so I guess we'll have to go again in a few weeks.
The last place we went had some good prices on Glocks. I found a G23 that kept calling to me. So I just had to buy it.
And she didn't complain at all!

Excellent! I've never been to Connecticut, but there's a first time for most things.
I guess it's about time I start my own collection of firearms now, though. I'm well stocked on swords (just got a new one today, in fact) but on modern firearms I'm kind of... well... I don't have any.

My wife is just waiting for the day that we go out and by her a gun. She loves shooting them if we ever get a chance to go to the range.

LOL. Way back when, I was in the Corps and I made NCO. My Dad said he'd buy my NCO sword. My brother was in also, but he was an officer and had to buy his sword. He was always bitching about how much it cost. Now, I guess officers need them, but us lowly NCOs didn't, so I told my Dad that it wasn't necessary. He went ahead and did it anyway.
