Join NFIB in the fight to curb frivolous lawsuits
Too often, government bureaucrats and trial lawyers have used the threat of lawsuits to intimidate and harass law-abiding small-business owners. American small-business owners often are faced with a choice of settling or being sued, a choice that ends up only lining the pockets of trial lawyers at the cost of small-business owners and their customers.
Lawsuit filings have tripled in the last 30 years.
Many small-business owners, who typically make between $40,000 and $50,000 a year, are driven into bankruptcy by frivolous lawsuits.
When small-business owners do find themselves in court, it cuts into the time they could invest in building their business and creating jobs, and providing better benefits like health insurance, for employees and their families.
In response, NFIB and pro-small-business legislators in Congress have begun working to curb frivolous lawsuits. But that work is not yet done. Congress must pass legal and liability reform, which would inject a measure of fairness into a system that encourages preying on business without regard to legal merit.
Contact your legislator to learn if they stand with small business in opposing lawsuit abuse. Join with NFIB and ensure that Congress stands up for small business and enacts laws which will protect the rights of every day working Americans from such tactics.

I just think there should be a hunting season for lawyers, but they can only be shot in special hunting grounds......so this is what I propose;
Hunting season is only on court days, and the special hunting grounds is courtrooms.

I think that anyone found to be bringing a BS, frivolous lawsuit should be summarily shot, and their lawyer too. May make both of them think twice.
