Remodeling my house.......

I have been doing it off and on the last few years and am finally almost done. It was my grandfathers house and just updating it. Been doing alot the last couple months. Today I removed 8 windows and installed new double hung ones to match an addition I did a few years ago. Now just waiting on my wife to paint the living room and I am gonna start replacing the floor in most of the house. Besides that today I cut grass for hopefully the last time this year and had to remove a huge antenna from the roof of the house. The point of this is that I am absolutely whooped right now. Just trying to get the outside done so that when winter passes I can overhaule the yard and outside.

I sold my old place to my daughter. Now I'm remodeling it and I don't even own it anymore...

Sounds like you have a nice project going for yourself. Real estate/home remodeling has always been an interest of mine. Next up on my list of things to do is repaint my laundry room and one of the bedrooms...fun! lol

I worked construction prior to and after being hired in LE. My grandfather was a carpenter also so I guess its in the family.

Do you know what year the house was built?

I've always wanted to buy a old house and fix it up (easier said than done?).

This one was built back in the 60's. Ive had a blast remodeling it. It was a 2 Bedroom 1 1/2 bath with garage when I moved in. Now its 3 br 2 1/2 bath, sunroom and basement( sports ) room.
