Since you so firmly believe that all these people need is a sympathetic ear, some help with their economy, etc. etc. I propose this;

I will pay for the plane ticket, and I'm sure others will chip in for hotel and exspensis and we will send you over to the middle east. You sit down with them and get everything worked out. Sit around the campfire with them and sing Kumbaya holding hands and hugging each other. If you can get it worked out I will never doubt you again or say anything bad about Liberals again. I'll even take this offer one step further and say you can one other person of your choice to take with you, (another Liberal to assist).

So Jenna what do you say???

I don't think I could singlehandededly get these folks to sing Kumbaya overnight just by hugging them and sitting around the campfire with them, but I think many of them, or at least many of their children, will become less extreme after a few decades of affluence, access to Western media and consumer goods, educational and economic exchange with Western countries, and increasing affluence and dependency on the global economic system that they wouldn't want to mess up with violence. Many of the ancestors of people on this forum thought the ancestors of others on this forum were subhuman and deserved to be exterminated, but look how kumbaya-singy we all are now.

They are being taught from a very young aga that these things are bad. And its the oppressors from the west that are evil and need to be eliminated. And your saying that we should exspose them to more of this, exactly what they are taught is bad?? Tha makes no sence what so ever!?!?!?

By your logic if you have always been taught that Santa Clause isn't real, and everyone from the North Pole is evil, and this is taught to you since you are a baby. Now as a young adult the evil people from the North Pole are trying to tell you that they aren't evil and Santa Clause is real. By your logic if you do this enough they will no longer believe their family, their chuch, their culture, their society, but they will now believe the people from the North Pole?!?!? How can you honestly believe this?????

Let me ask you this, do you honestly think that if the Allied countries sat down with Hitler he would have stopped killing Jews and decided not to try to take over the world? That there was no reason to go to war?

Many of the ancestors of people on this forum thought the ancestors of others on this forum were subhuman and deserved to be exterminated, but look how kumbaya-singy we all are now.

1) One side wasn't trying to exterminate the other as hard as it's being done now by the Islamic extremists.

2) They arent or werent flying planes into buildings and such, yes murders did occure, but not in the context or in the numbers it's being done today.

3) I'm sorry to tell you this but it's still going on here in the US and in other countries!!!! Not everyone is singing Kumbaya and hugging, there are alot of groups that still hate each other.

Sorry kiddo, that is exactly what they (and their children) are fighting against. All those things that you mentioned at further polarizing Islam against the west. MILLIONS, with no exageration, of children have been taught to "hate" the Kafir (non muslim)

This line of thinking is flawed, because you (we) perceive the world one way, and they preceive it another, and sadly the two shall never meet.

And then I could get into the fact that they want to control the world starting with the lands they once occupied (North Africa, Spain, and right through to Vienna)

Anyone who is really surprised at this has not been paying attention for the last 10 years.

I agree with them - As Bush said just last month, these are fascists - They use the same tactics to vilify Americans that the Nazis used to vilify the Jews back in the 1940's and brainwash their youth.

I'll tell you another thing, Saddam was also a fascist, and remember his "Human Wave" of school kids who led the front line to slaughter in his war with Iran - Thank God he is gone.

Speaking of history repeating itself, I don't think we've seen the worst war yet either, nor the last use of nukes - the only question is who will will use them first.

I actually played a game, where I launched the entire U.S. Nuclear arsenal at any country that disagreed with me, all at once. The game said I failed, and that I had destroyed the earth.

On the upside, before that. I did manage to take over the following countries through the use of Extreme Violence and Nuclear Weapons...

Cuba (I nuked havana

France
Germany
French Guinea (Or however it's spelled. The name sounded wierd and they had a small army. So I nuked them)
Iraq
Iran
Afghanistan
North Korea
Somalia
I also managed to whipe out the western end of Russia and Most of the major cities in China.

At that time, I just let all hell break loose, and I launched everything I had.
