Heading to Mississippi
Well, I'm off to Mississippi on Saturday. Going to go down for a week with several members of my church to do some hurricane repaires. Going to be hanging drywall and doing some roofing and electrical repair. We have about 280 homes to start on. I am looking forward to it and should have a great time. If anyone is interested, we will be posting photos on tour church web site daily.

Was on the Mississippi Gulf Coast last summer visiting relatives in their new home. It's still a mess down there folks. God bless them and you for helping, it's needed.

)I am sure you will be more than welcome there.A lot of people think everything is back to normal ,NOT!I personally dont ever see normal in any of our lifetimes again down here.So where you headed.?

MAN oh man, being from sissippi I can tell you this, you are going the right time of the year. I used to sling shingles during the summer months and man it is a hot motha down there! Great cause, God bless!!!!

Very good cause. You'll be in my neck of the woods. Things are normal again where I live. You still see lots of houses with roof damage that hasn't been repaired yet. I live about 2 hours north of Gulfport so it wasn't as bad here. During Katrina we had sustained winds of 100 mph for about 6 hours. There was lots of damage then but everything's back to normal here. For the first week you couldn't hardly drive on any road because of trees down. Anyway, have a safe trip.
