Threats on leos
Don't you just love it when people make threats about leos?
I wish we had the legal standings that the President has.
It would be nice when someone makes comments anywhere about how they would love to kill cops we could actually, realisticly, expect to see them behind bars just for saying it.

Check out DeCaff2006 posts (from Hazelton, PA if anyone up PA way is interested)
His posts, and the whole damn thread has been reported to the one and only mod on there, by several on there, but the mod takes forever to catch up on these things...
It's surprising how many cops are on there.

Again.. Another Florida Law I love...

Corruption by Threat of a Public Servant. If you get pissed off at me while I'm at work, and threaten me, my family, with bodily harm, or death because of me doing my job. It's a Felony of the Third Degree. I have charged someone with it for threatening to burn down my house after I arrested him... And YES it did hold up in court. He got several months in jail, and a few years of probation.
The State Attorney originally was going to offer a plea deal for a year and a day in state prison with probation, BUT I was called back and told that wouldn't be possible because he didn't meet their "points" criteria. The female State Attorney that called me back told me "Well, he doesn't have anything bad in his record, just a FELONY FLEEING/ELUDING, DUI, and a battery charge. So he doesn't meet the points requirement for state prison for a plea deal."

Haters abound for us. Luckily, such people normally catch our attention fairly quick, then it is game on. My only hope is that my brothers and sisters don't get harmed in the teaching of a valuable lesson in tolerence to this young soul.
And Shepards we shall be,
for thee, My Lord, for thee,
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand,
That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy Command.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee
And teeming with souls will it ever be.

Well, he owns a teal 2000 Saturn SL, lives in Hazleton,PA. He used to have a maroon 2001 Pontiac Sunfire that he wrecked on Jan 17, 2004. (70mph with 5 inches of snow...smart guy...). His initials are RJ. You'd think somebody with access to PA motor vehicle records could find him

Sounds like a total jackass, but he's probably a coward, they all get tougher sitting behind their computers, he's probably the type that gets pulled over and is yessir,no sir, 3 bags full sir, and then as soon as he's clear he brags to his friends about how tough he got with the cops. I have POS like this threaten my life everyday at work, i don't even acknowledge it anymore.

I think y'all are taking this way too personal. The guy has the right to voice his opinion. He's just the type of guy who when he gets stopped he's all "Yes, sir" and "No, sir" but the second you drive off he starts his ramblings about how he's going to "cap a pig".
Threats that are made to me on the street I take very seriously and I do charge them whenever I can. If someone makes a personal threat to me while I'm recording on my camera or with my audio recorder, I can charge them with "Terroristic Threats and Acts" under Georgia law... which is a felony. The virtue of spirit has no need for thanks or approval. Only the certain conviction that what has been done is right. -Jor El, as played by Marlon Brando

That is more than likely true about him...however he's still being an asshole about it. He gives the impression that he doesn't care at all about the lives of anyone on the road he may be endangering because he is driving as he "sees fit" for himself. His comments just don't give a good impression about himself, I think I'll stick with still thinking he's an asshole.

He'll probably wrap his car around a tree. Or over a bridge into one of the three rivers. Wonder how much he'd love to see a cop then, hoping they'd haul his ass out?

I hope someone figures out where he is and keeps an eye out for him.
Don't 'target' him, cause that would be illegal, but if he happens to be going the same way you go, shop at the same stores as your shift-mate etc, nail him with every ticket you can dig up.
Assholes like him should be beaten to a pulp, then fined for littering.Last edited by Hearmoretalkless; 11-05-06 at 02:50 PM.
