More kids shows!

The ABC family channel has started running the Xmas shows!! Tonight, 12/4/06 is Rudoplh's Shiny New Year. The Island of Misfit Toys and Rudolph the Red nosed Reindeer. These start at seven p.m.

On Nick, SpongeBob Xmas comes on tonight.

Santa's coming, tonight tonight...

Whoops, The Year without a Santa Claus is on tonight!

The Misers were on tonight at 8 PM. I thought I was taping it but taped the wrong channel. So much for doing the Miser dance in the AM. Tomorrow night is 'Santa Claus is Coming to Town.' Put one foot in front of the other.............

I'm still bummed about missing "A Charlie Brown Christmas". Some of the worst audio engineering in the history of recorded sound - and it doesn't matter.

Or maybe some of the best? That excessive audio compressor use makes it more earnest somehow.

And now, a little trivia!

Bob Merrill and Jule Styne (Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Peter Pan, etc) wrote the songs for this show. As production was wrapping up, they came up with a finale for Scrooge. They were told it was too late to work the song in, so they used it in another musical.
