Band of Brothers on History Channel
I only caught bits and pieces of this mini-series when it first came out. With me being hurt and out of work, I got the opportunity to watch the entire marathon series this weekend on History Channel. It is eerie the way it reminded me of my war experiences, as well as reminding me of the way we stick together as cops. Sometimes we forget about that bond and get immersed in our own selfish needs. This may sound corny, but it's that bond that keeps us alive and keeps us going through all the tough times.

I loved that show!
Like you, I only caught bits and pieces. The I discovered Netflicks carried it, so I rented the series to watch....great dvd extras.
My Target had the boxed set on sale a few months back, so I picked it up.
I also ended up getting the book it was based on.....great read.Molly Weasley makes Chuck Norris eat his vegetables.

This is one of the greatest series ever made. I read the book, and own the DVDs, ands I still watch them when they are on the tube.
For the morning will come. Brightly will it shine on the brave and true, kindly upon all who suffer for the cause, glorious upon the tombs of heroes. Thus will shine the dawn.

I caught bits and pieces of the episodes yesterday on the History Channel. My Dad and brother were really in to the show, but I never really watched them. After seeing them yesterday I think it's a fantastic series. My Dad has the series on DVD and will have to grab them when I'm home next to see what I missed.
