I DVR'd it. I heard that Paula looked very much out of it (pills and or alcohol) yet again.

Remember the Deputy who sang "I Shot the Sheriff?"
He came back.
He was wearing an Uncle Sam suit.
He sang "God Bless America"

Was that the Deputy From ohio? If so He lives only 20 minutes from me!
American Idol Pissed me off tonight. The two boys that met on the show and became friends. The first one sang tearin up my heart. I think that the comments by Simon Were uncalled for. I can understand them telling them that they cant sing. But when they start to attack what they look like I say it is BULLSHIT> He told the boy he looked like a monkey (because of his big eyes). Then Paula, Randy and Simon Laughed at him after he left. Im not sure why But this part of the Show bugged the hell out of me.
All of these people go through a screener before they see the 3 judges. They let this guy through the screener just so they can make fun of him.
Not sure I will watch again. I thought this was despicable.

Well, if nothing else we have identified two possible future serial killers in Seattle. The computer programmer geek, and the final guy "Red". In my professional opinion, they will be on the FBI's most wanted list within 10 years...LOL.

The lion chick made me laugh my ass off as well as the Nerdy dude with the eyes from last night. I was waiting him to tell simon that he was going to fry him with his fireball after he hit him with his +2 longsword.

Hmmmm., I was going to start a thread saying how much I love IDOL and the way they make fun of people. I mean its been on 5 yrs now and people who have NO business being there are there and do look weird and sound like fingernails on a chalkboard and such BUT, after reading Recas comment I kinda agree...
BUTT and its a HUGE Rosie ass, what do they expect?
That goofy looking {BTW- he called him a Bushbaby, and they already filed a lawsuit} guy had no reason to be there. Its not about music anymore, its about their 15 minutes. YES the screeners shouldnt let them through or should have them sign a waiver saying they cant sue for 'bad words'
Sticks and stones may break my bones......
EDIT---
Also notice how at the end of the show they take a song, like right now Elvis Presley Hunka burning love and they cut together bits and pieces of all the worst of the worst of the night together?
Its all for the sake of ratings. The people who get "no" for the audition are then taken somewhere and they sing one song and thats what they end the show with, bits and peices of crapola singing...A monday morning lunatic, disturbed from time to time. Temporary catatonic madman on occasion..

It's all done for ratings. The "contestants" know going in that they are going to be abused, and they are coached to throw a hissy fit instead of maintaining any semblance of dignity as they exit.
And has anyone noticed that they now focus on the hysterically weeping losers for much longer than they used to in past seasons? Apparently that is what the American public wants these days - human suffering and cruelty. It's a sad commentary on our country that it is not enough just to focus on the truly talented men and women who are auditioning."Old age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill." - My Dad

+10...
In the first or second season, a co-worker {my wifes} daughter went to the NY audition. She got there early enough, has a truly great voice and blha blah blah was turned down just to get into the place to get an audition or quick shot at a chance of getting to Simon, Paula and BigDawg...
